They said "a friend, who is only charging us $300 for all day"
I just wanted to ask some questions.
What do you get for $300?
Does your friends camera even cost $300?
Does your friend have more than one camera? (What if it breaks?)
Does your friend have a lens long enough to photograph the ceremony with out standing next to you?
Does your friend have a real flash or just that little pop-up one on the camera?
Does your friend have more than one flash?
Does your friend have more than one lens?
Does your friend have spare batteries?
Does your friend have lots of memory cards?
Does your friend provide a professional custom album?
Does your friend know Photoshop?
Does your friend have years of experience?
Does your friend know how to pose groups?
Does your friend know what lighting is?
Does your friend retouch, open closed eyes, fix zits or clean up backgrounds?
If the answer to my questions is yes, then you have a great friend and you a getting a great gift.
If the answer is no, then I think you are taking a chance.
You are trying to save a few dollars on something that you can not do over. That, hopefully, will only happen to you once.
Is it worth it?
If you like my questions,
