Here is a different view of Crater Lake from our trip to the Northwest. Yes, the water is really that blue.
I am photographing a wedding tomorrow and the weather does not look too promising. Yes, It is supposed to be outside in a tent. Going to dress warm!
A good thing about tomorrow'a wedding is that we will be catered by Old Carolina BBQ. The food will be delicious!
Wednesday was the first day of my golf league. It was 39 degrees when we teed off. I nearly froze my feet and hands. I guess 46 is not a bad score considering.
I am just sitting here writing and watching Tom and Jerry on TV. Love those old cartoons.
Can anyone tell me why gas prices jumped to $3.79 this week. That's a 40 cent increase. It must be the firm(?) way our president is handling the crisis in The Ukraine.
Congratulations to past clients April and Blake who welcomed their first child today.
The Indians got a great performance from Corey Kluber yesterday. A 5 to 1 complete game victory. We will need a lot more of those.
Tuesday was our bowling banquet. A good time was had by all. I came home with enough prize money to buy a new ball.
I am amazed at the number of brides that are still calling about available dates in 2014. Luckily, we still have openings . I guess the idea of planning ahead is a thing of the past.
My weight loss is still hovering around 50 pounds. It is much easier to go up and down the stairs now. It's also fun buying new clothes.
How did we manage without Facebook?
I am due to get a new phone. I just can't decide what to get. Let me know your suggestions.
We are starting to get ideas for our 2015 RV trip to the Southwest. There is so much to see......
Jason Bourne is a bad man!!!
Alton Brown is my favorite TV chef.
I am amazed at how many people out there try to pass themselves off as professional photographers. They have none of the things it takes to be professional. No studio, no insurance, no pro equipment, no experience, no samples, no back-up gear, no nothing. Why do they keep getting work? Be very careful when choosing vendors for your wedding or event. Ask to see samples. And not just one. Ask for several. Make sure the one you choose is the right one.
I know I can not be the right photographer for everyone. I just do not understand people's choices. Too many people are terribly disappointed....It makes my industry look bad.
Just remember.....You get what yo pay for.....
Well.....I have a long day tomorrow, so I'm heading off to bed. Check back and I will have more interesting things to say......I hope!
